Procedure Details

This woman saw Dr. Jaimie DeRosa after having undergone 2 prior nose jobs. The first surgery was when she was in her 20s and then the second surgery was about 10 years ago. Since the second surgery, she noticed progressive shortening of her nose and irregularities over the nasal bone. Her exam was notable for thin nasal skin with visible irregularities over the nasal bones, which were also visible. There was a Bossa of the left nasal tip cartilage and short nose nasal deformity where the tip of the nose was over-rotated and not projected. Dr. DeRosa performed revision open septorhinoplasty and used irradiated rib cartilage to lengthen the nose and correct the tip position, as well as correct the irregularities over the nasal bones.
